Journals tipology

The journals of the RedRUAA portal can be classified under the following headings:

1. By management or ownership:

- Journals dependent on General Directorates. The management of these journals is the responsibility of the administrative staff of one of the seven Directorates-General or their departments.

  2. Docere
  3. Investigación y Práctica en Psicología del Desarrollo

- Journals dependent on Academic Centers. These are journals which are managed by academics belonging to one of the ten Academic Centers or their departments.

  2. Artificio
  3. BInvestigación
  4. Caleidoscopio
  5. Euphyía
  6. Lux Médica

- Student journals. These are journals in which students play an active role, either as managers, authors or both.

  1. Horizonte Histórico
  2. Investigación y Práctica en Psicología del Desarrollo
  3. Luxiérnaga
  4. Marmórea
  5. Pirocromo
  6. Xpacial

- Journals published inter-institutionally. The UAA, through one of its academic or administrative services, participates jointly with other institutions in editing and managing the journal.

So far, there is no academic periodical with this type of title within the University.

2. By objective:

- Research journals. Their aim is to disseminate the knowledge resulting from a methodological research process, mainly among the academic world itself and the specialized public.

- Dissemination journals. They contribute to the dissemination of knowledge based on the idea of general culture. They are aimed at a wider, non-specialized audience.

3. By their status:

Made up of the active, who continue to publish to this day, and the inactive, who were also part of RedRUAA but have discontinued its continuity.

4. For belonging to the General and Historical Archive of the UAA (AGHUAA):

Consisting of those currently inactive journals that at some point were produced by the University and are part of its institutional trajectory, but which have been digitized for Open Access consultation by the Department of General and Historical Archives, belonging to the General Secretariat of the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes.

These journals are currently in the process of being uploaded to the platform.
