    -PUBLICATION INACTIVE-

    Quarterly digital magazine published by the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes whose purpose was to serve as a tool for linking our institution and society, i.e., university students, graduates, entrepreneurs, civil organizations, etc.; as well as becoming a space for the socialization of the experience of being university students and the transfer of knowledge and technologies, to give meaning to the tasks of the institution as a vital organism in constant transformation. It was published from August 2015 until September 2020 and its collection contains a total of sixteen issues, all available on its website.

  • Arte, Imagen y Sonido

    The journal Arte, Imagen y Sonido (Art, Image and Sound), of biannual periodicity, comes up from the academic work of teachers and artists of the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes. Driven by the conviction that convergences and divergences between different knowledge multiplies the possibilities of thinking about the artistic fact, the journal is presented as a living space of artistic documentation that opens the debate around art and its linkage with the contemporary world from Latin American.

  • Artificio

    Artificio ® is a scientific journal that seeks to build, from a multidisciplinary approach, knowledge about the sciences and methods in the study of Anthropic Environments, understood as the experience, transformation and impact of the relationship between man and the environment, from perspectives such as design, urban planning, architecture, civil engineering, and others.

    Refereed through the double-blind system and published every six months in the form of continuous publication, Artificio publishes articles in Spanish and English. It is edited by the Design Sciences Center and published by the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes. Its content is aimed at researchers in the same areas and graduate students, e-ISSN: 2992-7463.

  • BInvestigación

    -PUBLICATION INACTIVE-

    BInvestigación was a multidisciplinary and peer-reviewed journal, edited and distributed annually digitally by the International Baccalaureate of the High School Education Center of the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes. It was published from 2019 to 2020 and its collection contains two issues, available in open access for consultation.

  • Caleidoscopio - Biannual Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities

    Semi-annual arbitrated academic journal that publishes essays, reviews, theoretical articles, empirical studies, reviews and other types of material (translations, conference transcripts, methodological guides, etc.) that address issues related to Social Sciences and Humanities: sociology, communication, education , psychology, history, law, social work, anthropology, political science, public administration, languages, literature, philosophy and art (e-ISSN: 2395-9576). It has been published since 1997 by the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes. Since issue 37 (July-December 2017), it has been published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.

  • DOCERE

    The biannual journal Docere is indexed in Latindex and Dialnet, and it has an ISSN for its printed and electronic versions, granted by INDAUTOR. Since 2009, it has published articles that contribute to the development of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values in higher and upper secondary education teachers to help them face their practice in line with the challenges of the current context, primarily related to the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of teaching and learning, as well as their own educational practice.

  • Euphyía

    Euphyía is a philosophical journal that publishes articles, discussions, translations to Spanish and reviews of books. The texts published in this journal are not restricted to a single philosophical field, and texts in English are received. Contributions must be originals and unpublished, and must not be subject of evaluation for other publication.

  • Horizonte Histórico - Semester journal for students of the UAA's Bachelor's Degree in History

    Horizonte Histórico is a digital semester journal headed by students of the Bachelor's Degree in History; study program belonging to the Department of History and, the latter in turn, to the Center for Social Sciences and Humanities of the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes.

    Although like a university magazine produced by and for students, Horizonte Histórico receives historiographical contributions from all institutional and geographical provenances, with authors in multiple states of the Mexican Republic, as well as in several countries, mainly in Europe and Latin America.

  • Investigación y Ciencia de la Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes

    Research and Science at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal indexed in CONACyT's Index of Mexican Journals of Scientific and Technological Dissemination, the International Index "Actualidad Iberoamericana," IRESIE, LATINDEX, PERIÓDICA, and REDALyC. It is also indexed in the following databases: BIBLAT, DIALNET, Informe Académico, ULRICH's, and EBSCO Mexico.
    Contributions: Research articles, scientific reviews, scientific notes, obituaries, and book reviews. 
    No cost for the peer review and publication of articles.

  • Investigación y Práctica en Psicología del Desarrollo

    -PUBLICATION INACTIVE-

    Investigación y Práctica en Psicología del Desarrollo Segunda Época (e-ISSN: 2448-4741) was an annual periodical publication headed first by teachers and later by psychology students; edited by the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes through the Center for Social Sciences and Humanities and the Department of Psychology.

    It featured articles of interest to psychology from different perspectives and areas, from any institutional or geographical origin, with authors from Spain and Latin America. The journal was published under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. During its two periods, it was published intermittently from 2015 to 2023, and its archive contains a total of six issues from its first period and one incomplete issue from the second, all available on its website.

  • Luxiérnaga - Journal of Philosophy Students

    Luxiérnaga is the student magazine of the Philosophy Department at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes. It publishes texts of various genres (poetry, aphorisms, short stories, short essays, critical commentary, and reviews) that are philosophically relevant, original, coherent in their argumentation, and of high literary quality. It is published twice a year and submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis. Texts are evaluated by an editorial committee composed of students and faculty. The e-ISSN is: 2683-2461.

  • Lux Médica

    Lux Médica is a peer-reviewed journal published quarterly by the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes through its Health Sciences Center. The journal publishes articles of interest in the field of health sciences, with the aim of disseminating advances and innovations in this area of knowledge. The content of the journal is aimed at healthcare professionals, undergraduate and graduate students, and researchers.

  • Marmórea - Academic Journal of Language and Literature

    Marmórea is a biannual student journal that aims to promote and disseminate academic knowledge, as well as enable the creation and expansion of spaces dedicated to study, research, and learning. This digital journal is the result of a student initiative to publish academic work by undergraduate and graduate students in linguistics, literature, and related fields. The journal is peer-reviewed by qualified faculty and students in the field, so only high-quality work is published that can serve as a reference source for those interested in the various areas of knowledge covered by the journal.

    Its objective is to create and promote a multidisciplinary university publishing space focused on the areas of linguistics and literature, providing academic material and current, well-founded research. Its mission is to publish and disseminate high-quality academic work that broadens the scope of linguistic and literary studies, as well as related disciplines, in the region. Its vision is to maintain a publishing space that contributes to, builds, and fosters dialogue in the construction of knowledge in the aforementioned areas.

  • PIROCROMO - Student Journal of the Bachelor's Degree in Hispanic Literature

    PIROCROMO is a biannual electronic and print publication edited by the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes through the Department of Hispanic Literature and the Center for Arts and Culture. It was launched in 2009 by students in the UAA's Hispanic Literature program with the aim of establishing a serious, stable medium for the dissemination of literature and culture, while also representing the program.

    Its title is registered with the Exclusive Use Rights Reserve: 04-2022-042710220900-102 and also has the ISSN and e-ISSN pending, registrations granted by the National Copyright Institute. The print edition of PIROCROMO is produced at the Graphic Processes Workshops of the Editorial Department of the Directorate General for Dissemination and Outreach of the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, located in Module 127 of the University City in Aguascalientes, Ags.

  • XPACIAL

    -PUBLICATION INACTIVE-

    The magazine Xpacial had the mission of serving as an impartial space for the cross-pollination of the most varied ideas and spatial expressions, whose mixture resulted in an experimental magazine with a strong visual impact and academic rigor; managed by students in collaboration with graduates, professionals, and academics in the field of architecture and design.

    It was aimed at a diverse audience interested in expressions of space, ranging from university students and academics to professionals in architecture, design, and the visual arts, as well as the general public.

    It was published from January 2023 to January 2024 and its collection contains a total of three issues, all available on its website.
