Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published or submitted for consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor).
  • The file containing the text bodies is in Microsoft Word format.
  • References (if any) are arranged according to APA 7th edition guidelines.
  • The text has 1.5 line spacing; Arial 14 font and bold for titles and subtitles, Arial 12 for the body of the paper.

Author Guidelines

Students, regardless of their degree (undergraduate to doctorate), academics, researchers and even professionals of the disciplines that make up the thematic coverage of the journal may collaborate, without distinction or limitation of age or nationality.

Xplore

Aimed at students of any degree (undergraduate to doctorate), academics and professionals. They are writings aimed at demonstrating the analytical nature of the author on a topic related to the dossier. It is intended that the critique be directed to an architectural, artistic or design work that is of interest to the discipline in question.

Review

Focused on high school and undergraduate students. The category includes a brief review of books, preferably on topics related to the dossier and thematic coverage of the journal.

Scientific Article

It comprises the publication of original research results in the fields of the journal's thematic coverage, which in turn is related to the dossier. Oriented to researchers and undergraduate students and above. The selected articles will constitute the most academically rigorous section of the publication.

Xperimental

Of any nature, with variable and contemporary themes on architecture and society. Without a rigorous methodology, on condition that they present a highly critical stance. Priority will be given to works related to the dossier. Visual works will be received in any publishable format: collage, plates, photography, sketches, models, etc. Non-awarded works that have been presented in contests, exhibitions, galleries, etc. will also be accepted under the condition that they have not been published in any media.
