Abstract

The fluor is an effective material in the prevention of dental caries, however, its ability to remineralization of incipient lesion is studying yet. Objective: To evaluate in vitro remineralization of non-cavitated white spot caries in primary teeth with two remineralizing fluoride methods: oral rinse vs varnish. Materials and methods: In vitro cross-sectional experimental study, 40 healthy primary teeth were divided into two two control groups (Negative and Positive) and two experimental groups (10 each) the positive control group and the experimental groups with an enamel demineralization. Revealing the depth of the lesion with silver nitrate stain to 50%. Results: Remineralization was observed in both experimental groups, the Oral rinse group presented greater efficacy in the remineralization with an effect size of 0.43 Standard Deviation with respect to varnish.
