The influence of knowledge management in competitiviness level of the manufacturing SME of Aguascalientes

Abstract

In an environment of uncertain business and new economy that characterizes the 21st century, the acquisition of more competitive advantages and the high competitiveness level has become one of the main priorities of the firms, mainly of the small and medium-sized enterprises. To achieve these goals the organizations have to improve the knowledge management, since the competitiveness level depends on the firm’s capacity to develop and deploy knowledge. For it, starting from a sample of 125 manufacturing firms from the state of Aguascalientes, this paper analyzes the influence of knowledge management at the level of competitiveness. The obtained results show showed a strong influence of the knowledge management in the small and medium-sized enterprises competitiveness level.
