Abstract

Electronic industry has grown in the last 50 years, especially in developed countries, contributing to its economy. Particularly in Baja California, located in the northwest of Mexico, these companies have prospered in Mexicali. In the electronic industry of this city, industrial electronic equipments reduce their operating level by the exposure to the atmospheric corrosion, generating electrical failures continuously or at certain moments. Based on this, a study to organize and then determine the main causes of the
reduction of the operating yielding of the electronic equipments, using the ABC graphics was made. Operating yielding was lower in winter at indices of relative humidity and temperature higher than 70% and 25 °C and the concentrations of sulfur that exceeded the air quality standard, occurring the corrosion phenomenon.
