Abstract

High school experiences acquire multiple meanings in youth lives. The relevance of research on this educational level is reflected in an increased work from different perspectives and methodologies. This paper explores the meanings attributed to school from a retrospective view of the experience of one group of undergraduates. To do interviews, we work with a form of life stories, close to an autobiographical narrative perspective. Results show the meanings attributed to the school in general (improvement, youth space), their experiences in passing through this educational type, and how they lived their transition to higher education, which they are currently studying.
