Review of the Book Entornos Personales de Aprendizaje: claves para el ecosistema educativo en red (Personal Learning Environments: keys to the networked educational ecosystem)

Abstract

Linda Castañeda and Jordi Adell are the editors of the first publication of the digital book focused on the Personal Learning Environment -PLE-, which is defined by the authors as "the set of tools, information sources, connections and activities that each person uses assiduously to learn" (2013, p. 16). They also consider the environment as a "web of social connections and basic sources" (Castañeda and Adell, 2013, p. 11), inherent to the construction of learning itself.
