10th Anniversary of the Academic Formation and Update Department

Abstract

Some of the obtained results on the implementation of services and strategies for teaching formation in Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes are presented, such as the provision of general and special courses, pedagogical consulting, and the provision of media outlets throughout of the teaching formation and update department’s 10 years of existence which is affiliated to General Directorate of Undergraduate Teaching. It emphasizes the importance of the referred services and strategies in the face of a characteristic that prevails nowadays in most of the teachers dedicated to this vocation in upper secondary and higher education which is the lack of teaching formation when starting out in the teaching profession.
