Tutoring in the UAA: Institutional Guidelines and Students´ Expectations

The Higher Education Institutions worried about improving the professional training processes and attending their students on a comprehensive way have designed different proposals, one of which is the establishment of tutoring institutional programs that respond to the indicated by the Asociación Nacional de Universidades e Instituciones de Educación Superior (ANUIES) (1998), that recommends the implementation of tutoring programs through which an accordingly trained professor supports and advices the students throughout their professional training. The objective is to support students so they achieve being better professionals and better people.
