About the Journal

The journal Arte, Imagen y Sonido (Art, Image and Sound), of biannual periodicity, comes up from the academic work of teachers and artists of the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes. Driven by the conviction that convergences and divergences between different knowledge multiplies the possibilities of thinking about the artistic fact, the journal is presented as a living space of artistic documentation that opens the debate around art and its linkage with the contemporary world from Latin American.

de investigación interdisciplinar “Interfases de las
imágenes: mediación, plasticidad, imaginación
política” del Departamento de Comunicación de la
Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México,
convocan a todas las personas interesadas en participar
en el Dossier especial “El cuerpo en disputa:
reflexiones desde las artes contemporáneas”, que se
publicará como parte del número 9 de la revista Arte,
Imagen y Sonido.
