Abstract

Paper concerning amazement, shock and compassion aroused by the apprehension of the cinematographic phenomenon, its expanded modality particularily. There, every picture seems to break and overflow  the rigidity of the two-dimensional support to break into the everyday life space-time. Its profound distinction from traditional cinema is manifested in the viewer's perception. His reception is transfigured into an unusual experience of connection with reality, engaging and challenging him not only intellectually, emotionally and volitionally, but also on a somatic level. Due to this, the apprehension, interpretation and elaboration of new symbolic constructs are essentially performative to endow the world with unity, meaning and coherence.
