In this interview, the teacher in Gestalt Psychotherapy, Cecilia del Socorro Delgado Rodríguez, addresses affectivity within the educational context and its impact on the learning of students in higher and upper secondary education. She highlights the importance of developing affective skills by teaching professionals, such as authenticity, respect, and empathy, to strengthen their relationship with students. Moreover, she emphasizes the need to consciously work on self-regulation and positive expression of emotions, to create more meaningful and humane teaching and learning environments.
