Abstract

Educators, as designers of learning, first create a template environment, which is a space where learning is more likely to occur, and then guide students through a "nomadic journey" in pursuit of an overall learning objective. To this end, educators benefit from reflecting on an educational philosophy, the type of communication used in the classroom, and the way collective information is delivered, considering appropriate web tools or information and communication technologies (ICT) that can be employed.

Benjamin L. Stewart, Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes

Benjamin  L.  Stewart  (http://about.me/benjamin_stewart)  holds a master’s degree in education, curriculum, and instruction: technology and is pursuing a doctoral degree in educational leadership. He is a full-time eflteacher educator and researcher at the University of Aguascalientes  (UAA)  with  an  interest  in  researching  personal  learning networks and language teaching and learning.  In addition to giving various courses in academic writing  in  the  BA  in  English  language  teaching  degree  program  (at  the  UAA),  Benjamin  also  has  given  clas-ses in grammar, public speaking, English communica-tion, teaching practicum, qualitative research, business English, applied linguistics, and sociolinguistics.
