Among the many legacies that postmodernity has left to humanity, according to Enrique Rojas (2000), the so called light man appears, which emerges in Western society and is characterized by a nihilistic tetralogy based on hedonism, consumerism, permissiveness, and relativity, all of which are driven by the pursuit of power and money. In this situation, education needs to be contextualized, and this is only achieved when it is embodied in the history of the subject as an active agent within a reality.
