The formation of citizens is a task that begins at home; however, this responsibility has historically fallen on the school. At each level of education, it is a continuous task; civic education, civics, morals, and/or ethics have been defined as a curricular space, a field of training, and a transversal strategy. However, there is currently talk of a citizenship crisis, which means redefining, in the light of the global world, concepts and conceptions that arise from the national and state levels. For this reason, the higher level of education must continue with the formation of a citizen youth.
