Abstract

The application of the Ishikawa diagram as a learning strategy has a resolutive approach that allows to analyze the youth perspective and value the complex thinking about the climate change (CC). A brief historical panorama of the key reports on the global socio-environmental problematic grounds the environmental education in times of uncertainty, as well as the importance of the topics in the high school context. The results of the pedagogic strategy points out that the greenhouse effect gases are the main cause of the CC problematic in an 18%. From the Ishikawa diagram conclusions that were made by the students, three big categories within the CC phenomenon can be identified: causes (40.63%), risks (31.25%), and solutions (28.13%). The diagrams denotes the perspective of the complexity and finally, some challenges in the education for climate change are described.

Francisco Javier Acosta Collazo, Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes

Es licenciado en Biología por la Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes (UAA), cuenta con el grado de maestro en Educación Ambiental, obtenido en la Universidad de Guadalajara. Desde 1988 se desempeña como profesor e investigador en el Departamento de Ciencias Químico-Biológicas, adscrito al Centro de Educación Media (CEM) de la UAA; también ha impartido cursos en las modalidades educativas presencial y en línea para educación superior. Su participación con ponencias y conferencias en coloquios, congresos y seminarios ha sido en los ámbitos local, nacional e internacional, en temas relacionados con la educación ambiental y la formación docente en el tipo educativo medio superior. Fungió como editor de la revista BInvestigación del CEM de la UAA. Cuenta con diversos artículos publicados en la revista semestral DOCERE.
