Abstract

Both in the kitchen and in making food, women have traditionally been the protagonists. Cooking involves a whole series of procedures and different ways of organizing necessary for the production and reproduction of everyday life that seem invisible. While it is true that there have been social and cultural transformations that have led to the diversification and multiplication of activities carried out by women, both inside and outside the home, the archetype of cuisine and the primordial place of women in it continues to prevail according to the traditional criteria.
