Abstract

It is believed that the difference to understand texts is overcome through the efficient use of metacognitive reading strategies, however, for readers with comprehension problems this has a pedagogical implication, since it is widely recognized that incompetent readers are, therefore, same, unable to follow their own understanding and therefore can not apply metacognitive strategies.
