Abstract

In the present work it is shown how the private speech issued by a child who is in the 4th year of primary school, in the city of Aguascalientes, Mexico, serves as an instrument and strategy to account for his emotions and the regulation that makes them in situations of success and failure in two tasks: ludic (Tangram puzzles) and academic (Mathematical Problem Solving).
