Abstract

This article analyzes the existing social relationships that give rise to the discrimination of women in all areas. The study of women in general and academics in particular, allows us to evidence and, therefore, dismantle as far as possible the power relations that are woven in the interaction of men and women in society. The methodology we have used is based on bibliographic documentary analysis, from a gender perspective. Through a documentary approach we will analyze the existing mechanisms that allow identifying and assessing the discrimination and exclusion of academic women.
