Soledad Castillero Quezada obtained in 2021 the Blas Infante Memorial Award with the book Las sin tierra. Rompiendo el mito de la musa andaluza. This book is an investigation about the situation of women workers in the Andalusian countryside, specifically in the red fruit sector. The author presents the folklorization with which throughout the history of art Andalusian women have been represented, and opposes this look to the historical struggle of women for the vindication of their rights. At the same time, the author shows the current struggle of the Huelva workers through a collaborative ethnography. In this way, a collective narrative is created in which it is highlighted that women from the South are the ones who support food globally.
