Disruption in Rap: an Analysis from the Gender Perspective and the Conceptual Metaphor in the Formation of the Urban Musical Discourse of the 21st Century

The present work aims to review the construction of the social criticism found in rap music, taking Gata Cattana and Residente as representatives of the genre, and analyzing their musical works from conceptual metaphor concept, proposed by Lakoff and Jonhson, with the intention to carry out a CDA that allows us to approach social conventions on gender based and its cognitive assimilation.
