This article analyzes the soundscape productions of Elena Castillo and Griselda Sánchez from the point of view of the alternative archive and the anarchive. Soundscape is a genre of sound art that aims to emphasize the sound elements of a specific environment. However, taking into account the concept of 'situated listening', as well as the decolonial processes regarding Latin American artistic creation, there are sound artists who use personal concerns and local needs, such as sounds of traditions, of the street, voices and languages, social protests, to generate their sound pieces. At the same time, it is taken into account that both artists publish their soundscapes on open platforms, which would also be one of the characteristics of an alternative or anarchive archive.
