Feminist artivism: The image in the process of self-awareness

The objective of this writing is to expose a process of own authorship on feminist artivism, using the descriptions and memories of 8 feminist photography workshops that were titled: "The image in the process of self-awareness." These workshops were held with women in Mexico City and Oaxaca City; In addition to the above, it seeks to present a brief selection of images of the photographic works of the participants, which will give an account of the link between the process of self-awareness and the creative process.
The study was qualitative, using participatory action research in the workshops, the narrative of the participants as well as their photographs were analyzed through categories related to the theoretical referents.
