This document aims to study the family album as a memory and the changes it has undergone due to the evolution of the media in which records are deposited today. For this purpose, a brief overview of the concepts and processes of memory from psychology, philosophy and an approach to collective memory from sociology is proposed. Once the above has been raised, a reflection is made on the family album, and its importance as a document of social memory, to finally outline some points of view on the changes in the use and consumption of domestic photographs from their storage in the "Cloud" and its consumption through social networks.
