In his book Estética de la música, Enrico Fubini considers that «the essence of the creative process is a constant dialogue between matter and form». We believe that this dialogue can extend to communication between different modes of expression and that poetry and music are capable of unifying their efforts and constantly feeding each other. In this order of ideas arises our attempt to unify poetry and music in a single speech. Canto a un Dios Mineral, of the poet of Veracruz origin Jorge Cuesta appeared on our horizon as a pretext to carry out this project. In Jorge Cuesta: Music, poetry and sound art, poetry and sound art unify their destinies with the intention of creating a piece of sound art linked to interdisciplinarity and for which we put in one stroke two passions: poetry and music.
