This paper presents a possible way for the work and learning of the interpretive-musical act addressed to an audience, also known as musical performance: it is the Active Musical Expressiveness (AME) and Active Musical Expressiveness with the Instrument (AMEI) system. This system consists of the active participation of the student in her or his process of construction of the musical discourse in an ecological and heuristic way, cyclically connecting her or his previous knowledge with the new findings identified by her/himself. Therefore, the author bases that inventive way of building the learning of a musical work in the parameters of musical expressiveness, Mindfulness and in the relationship between music and emotions, with the aim of providing, thus, an atmosphere conducive to a meaningful learning in an inherently musical way.
