The presence of information and communication technologies (ICT) in daily life, academia, and consequently in the workforces made it necessary to train students in a transversal manner through ICT. This issue became indispensable during the COVID-19 lockdown. As a result, it was necessary to measure students' self-perception of their mastering in ICT. To do this, information was collected through a questionnaire consisting of a Likert scale, which was administered to 566 students from five technological universities. The results indicate that, despite the sufficient digital competencies of students, there are still differences related to gender, place of origin and family academic background.
