The health emergency caused by SARS-COV-2 significantly impacted all aspects of our daily lives, including education, since it caused important changes. In education, methodologies that permitted to maintain teaching through virtuality were adopted; one of them is constituted by Flipped classroom. This is a tool that centers the student in the teaching process, and it can be adaptable to the distance teaching modality. Based on the observations during its implementation in the third semester of high school in the private school Villa Hidalgo, it can be said that this educative approach improved the comprehension of the topics of the biology class, and besides, an increase in the group’s average grade of students was obtained. The success of a methodology of this type derives from the degree of acceptation of students, the teacher-student interaction, and the appropriated planning of the activities.
