Opportunities of the Pandemic in University Music Education: Motivation for Sustainable Academic Actions

Academic actions carried out in the Bachelor of Music program at the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes (UAA) were analyzed to respond to the educational demands caused by the confinement situation that began in March 2020. The motivational and volitional mechanisms that drove these actions were theoretically contrasted and interpreted for this work as opportunities presented by the COVID-19 pandemic for university education. The result can be considered an indicator towards a social change geared to a more sustainable educational practices.
