With the purpose of knowing what is necessary to achieve a comprehensive education in students, projects and research have been developed focused on identifying the most important factors for this purpose. The main finding is what happens in the classroom as the factor with the greatest impact, based on the interactive teacher-student relationship. Therefore, the classroom climate, which mainly affects the socio-affective issues of the student, is an important issue to be addressed. In Mexico, actions derived from the results of research have been implemented at the upper secondary education with the purpose of effectively ensuring the comprehensive education of students. "Construye T" is a proposal of the Mexican educational system for the personal and social development of student in order to help strengthen the socio-affective aspects.
