Through this brief text, we will present some basics of the concept 'empathy' and some of the results obtained during our research currently in progress (López-León and Gómez, 2014), with the intention of comparing this information with an aspect of the evaluation stage that we consider of great relevance: feedback. Through our teaching experience, within a particular group of subjects known as Design workshops, we realized that both the practice of feedback and the concept of empathy have a direct relationship with our Institutional Educational Model (IEM), which represents a commitment, a starting point and a perspective from which we teachers at the Universidad Autónoma de Aguascalientes must reflect our professorship, in order to ensure the educational quality of the institution and student-centered teaching and learning processes with a fully humanistic approach.
