The objective of this brief text is to invite a reflection around the very essence of the everyday educational practice. This reflection is based on the review of two conceptions of education proposed by Michel Foucault. We begin with the characterization of these proposals, in order to enable their implementation in a group reflection in the classroom. This is done through a dynamic aimed at generating a group controversy around the paroxysm that represented the comparative study of the genealogical (Foucault, 2008) and psychological (Foucault, 2006) conceptions of education, for the reflective approach of our educational practices.
