Cementoblastoma is a benign odontogenic tumor, originating from the ectomesenchyme, mainly affecting the molar and premolar region. It occurs in patients in the second and third decades of life, more frequently in men, with very low pediatric incidence. We report a case of mandibular cementoblastoma corroborated by histopathology, treated surgically, and by immediate remodeling through osteoconduction in the Maxillofacial Surgery Department at Centro Médico Nacional Siglo XXI, IMSS. With maxillofacial surgical management and remodeling with osteoconduction, radiographic controls were obtained with new bone formation without recurrence or mobility of adjacent teeth or loss due to bone reabsorption. The postsurgical evolution was satisfactory with the preservation of function and aesthetics. Conclusions: Cementoblastomas are rare lesions. Early diagnosis and imaging tests for treatment decision, prevents its growth and damage to adjacent structures. LUXMÉDICA AÑO 15, NÚMERO 45, SEPTIEMBRE-DICIEMBRE 2020 PP 63-69.
