Abstract

The training paths from reflective practice are a proposal for teacher training and self-training originated at the Universidad Iberoamericana, in response to the challenge in this area faced by undergraduate teachers. It guides the teacher towards self-reflection and reflection together with other teachers, to gain greater certainty and confidence when implementing relevant innovations in their teaching. The proposal is based on the experiential learning methodology and on Donald Schön's reflective practitioner model.

Author Biography

Ma. Ofelia Béjar López Peniche, Universidad Iberoamericana

Maestra en Pedagogía por la Universidad Panamericana, maestra en Estudios Humanísticos por el Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), y licenciada en Historia por la Universidad Iberoamericana (UIA), en la cual es académica de tiempo completo, colaboradora de los Programas de Formación de Académicos y Reflexión Universitaria. Ha elaborado y publicado artículos y materiales; diseñado e impartido cursos y talleres para profesores. Su experiencia como docente a nivel superior ha sido en el ITESM y actualmente en la UIA, con las materias de Problemáticas de México Contemporáneo y Realidad del México Contemporáneo.
