Abstract

This article is conceived in the light of a transdisciplinary debate about the components of a research program that focuses on subjective formations. Its general objective is to reflect on the emergency and senses that the notion of subjective formations acquires in diverse historical and disciplinary contexts. It presents a revision of categories and authors that contributed to the construction of this field-theme. Lines of work are pointed out to take reality, truth and language as a matter of interest for the social sciences in general and for social psychology in particular. The work contributes with elements of epistemological and methodological nature that when put in perspective, contribute to the decision making of researchers who are interested in problems related to the subjective formations.
