Abstract

From an epistemological perspective, this article performs a comparative analysis between the points of view of two French thinkers: Edgar Morin and Alexandre Koyré . Their proposals are reviewed around the knowledge production and the science advancement, similarities and differences are compared; a Leonardo Da Vinci's practica! case is also reviewed as one of the examples that coordinate both points of view from the two studied disciplines: The history of science and the sociology of complexity asan evidence that the scientific thought is hologramatic and not fragmented, as science has insisted to make us believe.
