Abstract

This article presents some historical traces of the emergence and development of the clothing industry in Villa Hidalgo, Jalisco, to understand how it has gone from traditional activity to achieve a rapid expansion with a great capacity to occupy personnel, despite the fact that its Productive characteristics are of traditional family type, little organization and low productivity.
