Abstract

It is intended to expose some varieties of phenomenology applied to the social sciences as instantative hermeneutics. For this the hermeneutic instaurativa is defined and the differences that it presents with respect to its antipode, the reductive hermeneutics, are shown. The most important varieties of phenomenology are exposed as an institutive hermeneutics, as well as its heuristic nature in relation to the type of possible research problems that may be addressed in the social sciences.
