Abstract

The article presents the results of the analysis of a corpus of sermons belonging to the Ancient Fund of the UAA and that were on the shelves of the San Diego Purísima convent in the town of Aguascalientes. It is conjectured that they could have been heard by Juan Francisco Calera, who founded, endowed and ordered the Camarín de la Inmaculada to be built, as well as having provided multiple mental images and a symbolism rich in orthodox elements for the "spiritual factory" "and the "" material factory "" of the enclosure. The analysis reveals a whole cosmo-epistemology that underlies the theological discourse of the San Diego Camarín.
