Abstract

This article analyzes some epistemological and ontological features of modernity. In particular, it deals with the distinction between subject-object and emerges from the exaltation of objectivity and distrust in subjectivity to the point of having produced, in the same impulse, both an enlightened movement and a romantic vision of the world. Questions the destruction of this distinction made by postmodernity and tries to respond to the dilemmas derived from irrationalist and mistaken positions. Argues that the analogical hermeneutics can provide us with a model of interpretation of reality that avoids this opposition between univocism and equivocism and recover, in this way, a dialogue between being and knowing
