Abstract

In the context of the discussion about the nature of science in general and social science in particular, the author identifies one of the most frequent concerns in the development of philosophy and epistemology: is knowledge about social life scientific? ? Can there be social science? Does it have the same characteristics as the natural sciences? The answer to these questions, is developed from the hermeneutic position.
