Abstract

The Liberation Philosophy constitutes an important basis to approach Law from critical perspective. This article refers to Liberation Philosophy from Enrique Dussel’s Viewpoint and explains how it was used as Philosophy of Law by the Spanish legal Philosopher David Sánchez Rubio, as well as the Brazilians Antonio Carlos Wolkmer, Celso Luiz Ludwig and José Carlos Morelia da Silva. Sánchez given the perspective on which he elaborates a critical theory of human rights; Wolkmer founded judicial pluralism; Ludwig is given elements to construct alternative law and Morelia da Silva is able to theorize about the juridical demands of the new social movements of the time.
