Abstract

Hannah Arendt is an author who has worked extensively on the great issues that occupy politics. This paper deals with the conceptualization of political participation and its inclination towards councilist forms as the clearest ways in which the qualities of politics can be appreciated: dialogue, plurality and the construction of agreements through the predominance of the word . Arendt takes a journey in a double dimension: historical and from political theory. It follows up on the great moments in history in which the councilist route has worked (the commune of Paris, the Russian Revolution, the American Revolution) and analyzes the reasons that lead to the construction of politics only from moments, prior to any institutional organization.
