Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the impact that industrial policies have had on the economic development of the state of Aguascalientes, from the 1960s to the present. An overview of the four government periods (1980-2004) is presented, with special emphasis on the orientations and proposals of each governor in turn, the main axes of his government, his political affiliation and his relationship with the federal government.
