Abstract

The fallibilism implies reasonableness in the philosophy of science (Popper, Kuhn and Laudan), as in the philosophical hermeneutics (Gadamer), which is why both disciplines are theoretical and practical. This contradicts the following traditional ideas: that fallibilism is an exclusive methodology of the philosophy of theoretical science: and that reasonableness refers to morality and politics, whose reason is practical.
