Abstract

Aguascalientes after the boomAguascalientes is a state which has moved from a traditional society to a modern one in few years. This situation has generated different changes in diverse areas of social relations. In this article some of the demographic, economic, urban and the modernization of the state from 1980 to 1998 are analyzed. Some problems, conflicts and perspectives derived from this analysis are indicated.
