By analyzing the theoretical frameworks, as well as the antecedents prior to the wave of student movements in Latin America, we seek to understand this social phenomenon on a continental scale. By focusing on its similarities and differences, as well as its own functioning, we aim to reveal its transformation and key elements over time. Finally, we seek to understand its impact on a larger scale for the social movements that succeeded it.
