This research aims to describe and explain the commercial and social context, as well as the situation of industry in Aguascalientes at the end of the nineteenth century and the beginning of the twentieth century, during the Japanese immigration resulting from the treaty signed between Mexico and Japan. With the above, and using newspapers of the time as documentary sources, the author intends to demonstrate that the historical memory of our State is in error, and that, as he mentions, the first Japanese who arrived in Aguascalientes did not do so due to the investment and transfer of companies at a national level, but to an earlier immigration movement.
